Low Fidelity Model
Moved from sketching and started to create low fidelity prototype models using Bristol and foam core. This helped to understand and forms in 3D and how to simplify the design.
Mid Fidelity Model
After exploring designs with the low fidelity models, and deciding a design direction, moved into Fusion 360. This model helped to visualize proportion issues between the orb and the outer shell. Also from this modeled decided a base would help to allow the curved outer shell breathe more.
CAD Models
After observing the mid fidelity model, began to make changes to improve design. With the high fidelity model, started to really focus on the multi part assembly of lamp and understand the batteries, led and button would go.
